Welcome to Jamie Slack Media
I am a second year Multimedia Journalism student currently studying at the University of Salford's MediaCityUK campus. I am also the current Media Department Lead for Salford Racing University Race Team for the 2026/27 season, which competes in Formula Student UK at Silverstone every July. I am based in Manchester.
I have a huge passion for the media industry and I am also an enthusiastic sports fan, with my passion being for motorsport and Formula 1. The content I have produced on display here is geared around a career in the industry and a display of my love for competition, stories and epic sporting atmospheres.
With Salford Racing at Silverstone, I was able to achieve a dream of presenting down the pit lane and I am keen to get back and work in the thrill of a racetrack!
The Blog page of the website includes all of my news and sport report articles, the Photo Gallery is home to my photography of both sport and music events.
The Salford Racing page will show you all of the media I made for the team last year, which will be updated with new content throughout the 2026/27 season!

TV Package
Manchester Marathon 2026 Coverage
I created a TV and Radio package reporting on the amazing scenes at the Manchester Marathon 2026, featuring an interview with the Manchester Run Club and a participant. This tested my study of Audio and Visual Journalism.
Radio Package
My Sports Desk (Recorded 27th March 2026)
I wrote, presented and edited my own 'sports desk' segment of a news programme - covering the day's sports news including football, F1, darts and rugby. This was filmed in the studio of the University of Salford's Quays News.
